Powerflush

Powerflush

In the process of a powerflush, the entirety of your central heating system undergoes a thorough cleansing. This includes both a boiler powerflush and a central heating powerflush, along with the associated pipework. The chemicals circulate throughout the entire system, so there’s no need to worry about the slight difference in terminology.

How long does a Powerflush take?

The majority of our Powerflush appointments typically take a full day, lasting approximately eight hours. Our engineers will provide specific details when determining your quote. The duration will be influenced by factors such as the size of your home, the number of radiators, and the extent of blockages or dirt in your existing heating system.

How does a Powerflush help?

It enhances the water circulation in your system, increasing overall efficiency. Your radiators will heat up faster, minimising the chances of breakdowns, cold radiators, and noisy boilers. Additionally, it contributes to extending the lifespan of your boiler, radiators, and overall heating system.

How is a Powerflush done and how does it work?

We use a machine and a three-step chemical process to meticulously clean your boiler, pipes, and radiators. Dirty sludge will be replaced with clean water using a cleansing agent. To accomplish this, we’ll need to drain the heating system and individually flush each radiator. Subsequently, we can dispose of the waste through an appropriate outside drain.
